The Brief
The client envisioned a sex room that seamlessly blended sensuality with sophistication. They were seeking a design that embodied old-school glamour, bold intimacy and uninhibited play. Every detail needed to exude premium craftsmanship and luxury design, from the textures on the walls to the finest of fixtures.
The Vision
Working closely with the client, our design team aimed to craft a space that merged provocative design with high-end aesthetics, creating an environment that was both seductively inviting and deeply intimate. Drawing inspiration from Art Deco grandeur, vintage Hollywood glamour, and classic architectural elements, it is a room where passion meets prestige.
The Design Concept
At the centre of the room lies a custom-built, circular bed dressed in Egyptian cotton line, set atop a rich red leather upholstered base.
Surrounding it, the walls feature custom-upholstered wall panels in deep crimson velvet and are embedded with LED strip lighting, bathing the space in a seductive red glow.
Rich mahogany hardwood flooring accentuates the aura of luxury. The deep, reddish-brown tones of the flooring provide warmth and richness, perfectly complementing the crimson velvet walls and black leather furnishings. The floor is hand-finished with a satin gloss, enhancing the stunning natural grain.
Framing the room is an exquisite set of bay windows, draped in floor-to-ceiling satin curtains with a soft, sheer inner layer to diffuse daylight. The windows are encased in polished ebony wood trim, adding an undeniable elegance to the space.
During the day, natural light streams through the sheer curtains, offering a warm glow that highlights the richness of the crimson and black palette. At night, the satin curtains provide complete privacy, transforming the room into a secluded heaven.
Gold accents punctuate the design, adding warmth to the space. Vintage-inspired desks with ebony wood and gold detailing line the walls, evoking a bygone era of glamour.
Gold wall sconces with crystal shades are perfectly placed to enhance the room’s sophisticated ambiance. While the antique camera, positioned next to the bed, is both a statement erotic art piece and a playful nod to erotic voyeurism and the art of seduction.
The Bathroom
The bathroom is a masterclass in indulgence. A clawfoot tub, in custom matte black with a copper interior finish, takes centre stage. Featuring hoops on either side for the client to indulge their BDSM fantasies by securing handcuffs or ties, the bathtub is a truly stand-out piece of the room.
Surrounded by flickering candlelight and framed by sleek black Italian marble columns, the bathroom serves as both a sensual retreat and an alluring focal point.
The walls are adorned with elegant black panelling and are crafted from high-gloss lacquered wood with subtle bevelling, making for a dramatic backdrop of desire.
Bespoke Accessories & Equipment
Every detail in the room is curated to be as provocative as it is luxurious. On the sleek ebony desks rest bespoke luxury pleasure boxes. Inside, these velvet-lined boxes house exquisitely designed sex toys and accessories. Among these treasures is a custom dildo crafted from 24K gold and a set with flawless white diamonds.
Mounted on the walls are an array of accessories and equipment to elevate our client’s experience including leather whips, floggers, and cuffs – all made from premium full-grain leather with polished metal accents. All these pieces are custom-designed to reflect the room’s striking aesthetic, ensuring they are as beautiful as they are functional.
The Result
